LBM was founded in 1983 in Lüneburg. Since 1986, our production facility has been located in the “Hafen” industrial area of Lüneburg.
Originally focused on lightweight metal container and mechanical engineering—reflected in the initials of our company name, which we have retained out of tradition—our company has continuously evolved. Over time, our focus shifted toward special-purpose machinery and plant engineering, which ultimately led to the establishment of our current core business: contract manufacturing.
In addition to our modern production facilities, we have our own design and development department. This enables us to offer complete order processing and project management efficiently and reliably from a single source.
Another important part of our service portfolio is our role as an authorized system partner of Thomson Industries, Inc. In this capacity, we cover the fields of automation, handling, and assembly technology. This partnership expands our technical capabilities and provides the flexibility required to develop customized, cost-effective, and high-performance solutions for our customers.
